APAI PhD Scholarship for 2003-2005

Removal of low level toxic air pollutants from car cabin by photocatalytic oxidation reactor

This project is funded under the ARC- Linkage Scheme. The Industrial partner of the project is Air International.

The basic stipend for the candidate is about $23,033 per year tax free for 3 years. The position is available to Australian permanent residents or citizens only.

The candidate for the above position should have an honour degree in environmental/Chemical engineering, or in environmental/applied science. Good communication skill is essential to the project. The skills experience in one or more of following areas would be an advantage:

  • Environmental chemistry/physical chemistry
  • Environmental/chemical engineering (design)
  • Chemical process modelling/simulation

Travels between Industry (Melbourne) and Deakin University (Geelong) are needed during the project.
